I'm excited about Page Springs Cellars. I also think they are a little nuts. This wine is supposedly a blend of Syrah, Zinfandel, Carignan, Cabernet Pfeffer, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc. Yes, that's a little crazy. It is also pretty darn good. It strikes me as very Grenache driven with a number of fruity and floral overtones. Just a little bacon fat on the nose--Syrah? Hard to say.
